Offshore, which provides great support,
began with small support.
Offshore business fostered by pure CSR.

In 1997, Fujiki, the company’s president, met a company’s president. The president had donated all of his pension to a nursing home in Vietnam. While talking with him, I decided to actually visit a nursing home in Vietnam. After witnessing the lives of orphaned children who had lost their parents, she began to make small donations every month. In 2003, while his relationship with Vietnam continued, he supported Hoang, a student from the Children’s Home, to study abroad and invited him to Japan. I wanted them to go to a vocational school in Japan and learn how to work as engineers so that they could get a decent job. After that, he continued to invite two young Vietnamese people to Japan to experience Brycen’s work. At this point, he had no idea that Brycen would expand into Vietnam in the future. In the process of supporting study abroad, a thought began to cross his mind. When they returned to Vietnam, they realized that there was no point in studying abroad if there was no software company there to work for. If that’s the case, why not offer them local jobs? With that in mind, we decided to start Brycen Vietnam in 2009. We started with just four people.

Profitable in 2018. It quickly expanded to 200 people.
Three years have passed since the start of Vietnam. It was still a small organization, with about 10 people. However, since that time, many customers have been saying that they want to use Vietnam. That’s how we decided to incorporate in 2013. After incorporation, the company focused on expanding its scale. Brycen is independent and has no capital coming from anywhere. Therefore, if you remain a small company, you will not be looked at by anyone. From there, we will gather people and aim to expand the scale. Even though there were few jobs, the company continued to recruit people, and in 2018 the scale expanded to 200 people. And Brycen Vietnam finally achieved a single-year profit in 2018. As a result, the previous nine years had been a loss-making investment phase. Vietnam is not the only offshore base. In 2013, I met another person and decided to go to Myanmar. There, too, they decided to support nursing homes. Two months later, the story proceeded to acquire a local company that the person who invited him to Myanmar was involved. This sense of speed is unique to Brycen. At the time of the establishment of the local subsidiary, there were four employees, but now the number of employees has expanded to 70. We also actively recruited from nursing homes. In the beginning, both Vietnam and Myanmar were only part of CSR. Today, this has become a major strength for Brycen and greatly supports the group”.
Brycen’s thoughts on the future of offshore
And borderless.
Brycen believes that offshore development and BPO will continue to develop in the future. In addition to ASEAN, the company is also looking to expand to the United States, the United Kingdom, European countries, and eventually Africa. We would like to expand into Africa in the next few years, but it is true that the hurdles are high. Monthly donations to educational institutions in Africa have already begun. And Japan is included in the borderless. It is an initiative for regional revitalization and nearshore in Japan. As an example, in 2018, we established a BPO center in Hachizu-cho, which is rich in nature in Tottori, and we will work together with local people to enliven the incubation center not right next to Tottori Station, but away from Tottori City. In the future, Japan’s population will decrease and will not increase. No matter how many people you gather in Japan, there is a limit. And more and more foreign human resources are coming to Japan. That’s why Brycen will attract more foreign employees and communicate with people they trust. And it will lead to regional revitalization. The fusion of offshore and nearshore will support the development of Brycen as a group in the future.
